Are you one of those people that love to spend time in the great outdoors? Whenever you have a day off do you use it to go camping and hiking? If so, have you considered taking your camping trips to the next level? Simply adding a few items to your inventory can make things easier and more relaxing.
First, invest in a hammock. There’s nothing as enjoyable as being suspended between two ancient trees, listening to the wind blow through the leaves while the birds sing. Whether you end up using it as a sleeping set up or just for reading, nothing spells adventure better.
Second, stop eating pre-packaged meals and power bars. You deserve to eat well, even while blazing new trails. Afterall, you’re expending lots of energy while hiking, biking, and exploring. Consider buying a propane stove. You can get one for under $100, and cook some of your favorite meals no matter where you’re located.
Lastly, upgrade from your sleeping pad or sleeping bag to an inflatable mattress of some sort. There are dozens of options for any budget, but they all have one thing in common: their goal is to provide a good night’s rest while out in the wilderness. You might have been okay with sleeping on gravel as a kid, but it’s important to preserve your back.
